On June 3, 2007, FeedBurner was acquired by Google. One month later, two of their popular "Pro" services (MyBrand and TotalStats) were made free to all users.
On May 26, 2011, Google announced that the FeedBurner APIs were deprecated. Google shut down the APIs on October 20, 2012.
Google "retired" AdSense for Feeds on October 2, 2012 and shut it down on December 3, 2012.
Google failed to renew the feedburner.jp domain name in July 2012. Yes, they forgot to renew a domain name, leaving millions of Japanese subscribers with unreachable feeds.
The “Contact Us” link in FeedBurner hasn't worked in three years. The Twitter account was also shut down and Google didn't even bother to create a Google+ page for FeedBurner.

It needed to track data accurately, but also provide built-in support for publishing to services like Facebook, Twitter and Buffer.
From its inception, we launched FeedPress with a way for our users to white label and redirect their feed URLs and export their data, without fear of lock-in.
BetaSeries is a Web company that has run very nicely for 15 years now, with our own high-availability server infrastructure. FeedPress was first made in October 2012 for our own websites (more than 3M visits per day). We have more than 400k subscribers and didn't see FeedBurner as a viable and dependable service.
